Vetlab plans to invest $10 million in a new state-of-the-art veterinary sterile manufacturing facility. Vetlab Sterile will be located adjacent to the existing Vetlab operations on Harris Street, St Marys and will be built to TGA standard.

The new facility will boast the latest automated equipment that will allow us to provide sterile products to our contract manufacturing clients in a variety of forms and sizes. It will also have an autoclave for sterilising liquid products such as metabolic injectables in soft packs as well as injectables requiring terminal sterilisation. In addition, the aseptic equipment will be capable of filling sterile products in pillow packs of varying sizes.

It is anticipated that the new facility will be ready for operation in the fourth quarter of 2017.
